The Youth City 2030 project was launched as an initiative by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in 2010 with the aim of discovering young talents, empowering youth with the means to excel, and making Bahraini youth the first choice in the labor market. Each year, the City offers young people training opportunities in five fields: science, arts, media, leadership, and sports.
